Make a scrapbook online and print it in a bound book?
UNSINKABLE asked:
I want to make a scrapbook online, like design it with pictures and captions and formatting, and then have it printed into a nice bound book, like a yearbook almost. I know CVS has it, but its program is not what I want it to be, you can’t position the photos and the caption spaces are very small. I’ve looked at smilebox but it kind of confuses me…Does anyone know of a good way to do this?

Try scrapblog.com, it’s super and they give you the option to post it online for friend/family to see and also to print a book of your pages. You can also save your pages as jpegs.

Check out Blurb:
You can download their software for free where you can build your book. They have all formats, templates (also of year books or photography books) or you can start from scratch your own project. You can choose many sizes with soft and/or hard cover.
Have fun-

At creative memories we have a program called storybook creator plus. It is amazing. All you do is click and drop your pictures and if you don’t like where they are you can move them and resize them. you can change your font and size. You can do whatever you want to the pages. To try a demo version click on the link below and you can download it. With the demo version you can not change the layouts or anything.

Once you buy the software you never have to buy it again and only have to buy the books you create!

Go to CropMom at. Upload your photos and click the create new layout button. Choose the size canvas you’d like to use. Make sure that you use the same size canvas for all of the layouts that you’re going to have printed in a photo book. I prefer an 8″ by 8″ or 12″ by 12″ photo book.
Drag and drop your photos onto the page. You can resize a photo by selecting it, and pushing or pulling the bottom right corner until it is the correct size. You can move a photo to the back or front layer by selecting the photo and pressed the move forward or move back button repeatedly until it’s in the place you’d like.
Choose a “kit” or “category” for the graphics. Drag and drop the graphics of your choice onto the canvas.
If you right click, you’ll get more options, such as centering, so you can center your background paper.
You can click add text to add your own text.
Save your layout. You’ll need about 20 layouts to fill most photo books. Purchase a bundle of 20 credits from CropMom and download all of your layouts as photo-quality digital files.
Now, go to Snapfish or any other photofinisher that offers photo books. Upload your photos to the site, and use the site’s software to create your photo book.
CVS books aren’t all that great. I personally like the Snapfish square books, 8″ by 8″, with the glossy dust jacket. Shutterfly also has nice books. And you can try SeeHere.com, as well.
By using CropMom, you can choose your layout size, and you can use any of CropMom’s designer graphics for your layouts.
